DEA has designed and built a NC tool holder trolley (code AR-494.11) dedicated to all those works done next to the CNC machining, successfully solving a crucial issue in the sector: safety
Using sharp blades and pointed mills is typical of companies specialized in mechanical possesses or who use machine tools , i.e. robotized automation of molding, grinding, welding, pressing and above all milling and turning, etc.
The professionals of this sector have reported a few problems relating to the use and storage of NC tools, primarily for transport.
Blades, mills and spindles used for cutting components are very dangerous tools that have to be stored in totally safe conditions, and that the operator has to be able to find simply and swiftly, even on different lines.
The challenge that DEA therefore faced was to expand its range of tool trolleys and make a tool holder trolley to satisfy needs like safety, speed of use and transportation.
Characteristics of the new DEA NC tool trolley

The tool holder trolley has a double-fronted opening to make finding mills and spindles easier and to speed up their use by technicians.
It has four drawers boasting a capacity of as much as 70 kg each, and they are adjustable based on the size of the blades.
Each drawer has ergonomic handles and a break/release system to keep the drawer in place during transport.
The trolley is also equipped with a surface to facilitate CNC machining and 4 castor wheels (2 equipped with breaks) for ease of transport between production lines.
The whole structure of the tool holder trolley is entirely welded.
